Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview
KnuttyDev, a DBA operated by RepPreps, LLC, provides custom web development and digital services. Because our work is custom and involves significant time and resources, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both parties while protecting the value of work completed.
We encourage open communication throughout every project. If you have concerns at any point, please contact us immediately so we can address them before they become larger issues.
Project Deposits
Most projects require an upfront deposit before work begins. This deposit:
- Secures your spot in our project schedule
- Covers initial planning, research, and design work
- Is typically 50% of the total project cost
- Is non-refundable once work has begun
If you cancel before any work has started (typically within 48 hours of deposit), we may offer a partial refund at our discretion, minus any administrative fees.
Project Cancellation
Cancellation by Client
If you need to cancel a project after work has begun:
- You are responsible for payment of all work completed to date
- We will provide an itemized summary of work performed
- Any unused portion of payments beyond completed work may be refunded
- All completed work and deliverables will be transferred to you upon full payment

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a project. If we cancel:
- You will receive a full refund of any payments for work not yet completed
- We will provide all completed work and files
- We will give reasonable notice and assist with transition if needed
Milestone-Based Projects
For larger projects, we often use milestone-based billing:
- Each milestone represents a defined phase of work
- Payment is due upon completion of each milestone
- You have an opportunity to review work before proceeding to the next phase
- Refunds are only available for milestones that have not yet begun
This approach protects both parties and ensures regular checkpoints throughout the project.
Revision Requests vs. Refunds
If you're unsatisfied with delivered work, we prefer to address concerns through revisions rather than refunds:
- Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds
- We work with you to understand and address your concerns
- Additional revisions beyond the included rounds may incur extra charges
- We are committed to delivering work that meets the agreed specifications
Refunds are not typically provided for subjective preferences if the work meets the agreed-upon specifications and requirements.
Subscription Services
For recurring services such as voice-clone content subscriptions or maintenance retainers:
- You may cancel at any time with 30 days written notice
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial months
- Any setup fees are non-refundable after work has begun
Discovery Calls & Consultations
Our initial discovery calls are provided at no charge and carry no obligation. If you have booked a paid consultation or assessment:
- Cancellations more than 24 hours in advance receive a full refund
- Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable
- No-shows are non-refundable
- Rescheduling is available with reasonable notice
Exceptions
We understand that exceptional circumstances arise. We may consider refund requests outside of this policy in cases of:
- Documented medical emergencies
- Natural disasters or other force majeure events
- Business closure or significant financial hardship
- Failure on our part to deliver as specified
Such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
Dispute Resolution
If you believe you are entitled to a refund and we disagree, we prefer to resolve disputes amicably:
- Contact us in writing to explain your concern
- We will review and respond within 5 business days
- We may propose alternative solutions (additional revisions, credits, etc.)
- If we cannot reach an agreement, disputes are governed by our Terms of Service

Please include your name, project details, and reason for the refund request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued engagement of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
For ongoing projects, the refund policy in effect at the time of your contract signing applies.
